Privacy Policy

Subvanta does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. There is no account, no sign-up, and no analytics. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do.

What Subvanta stores

Everything you enter — subscription names, prices, billing cycles, renewal dates, categories, notes, service links, and any images you choose — is stored in the app's private database on your device. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else. We have no servers that hold your data and no way to see it.

iCloud sync (off by default)

If you turn on Sync with iCloud in Settings, your subscriptions are also kept in your own private iCloud database, provided by Apple through CloudKit, so that your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account can show them. That database belongs to your Apple Account: we cannot read it, and it is covered by Apple's privacy policy and your iCloud settings. Sync is off unless you switch it on, and you can switch it off again at any time.

What Subvanta does not do

• No user accounts, logins, or sign-ups
• No connection to your bank, card, or Apple Account
• No analytics, crash reporting, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs
• No sale or sharing of personal data — we never receive any of it
• No access to your contacts, location, microphone, camera roll (beyond an image you explicitly pick), or browsing history

Network connections

Apart from iCloud sync, if you have turned it on, Subvanta makes only two kinds of network request, and neither one sends your data:

• Exchange rates. When you track subscriptions in more than one currency, the app downloads a public exchange-rate table from open.er-api.com so it can show a single combined total. The request contains only a currency code, such as USD. It contains nothing about your subscriptions, and all conversion happens on your device.
• Service icons (off by default). If you turn on "Fetch service icons" in Settings, the app requests the icon file directly from each service's own website — for example netflix.com/apple-touch-icon.png. That tells the service only that some device asked for its public icon. This is off unless you enable it, and you can instead set your own image for each subscription.

Notifications

Renewal reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device by iOS. They are never sent through a server, and no push tokens are collected.

Purchases

Subvanta Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; Subvanta never sees your payment details, card number, or Apple Account credentials. The app only asks iOS whether the unlock has been purchased.

Exporting your data

You can export all of your subscriptions to a CSV file at any time from Settings. That file goes wherever you choose to send it — Files, iCloud Drive, or another app. Once you share it, this policy no longer governs it, because it is then in the hands of whatever service you sent it to.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its database and every subscription in it. We hold no copy, so there is nothing to request from us or for us to erase. If you turned on iCloud sync, a copy also lives in your own iCloud: you can remove it in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Any CSV files you exported yourself remain wherever you saved them.

Children

Subvanta is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a revised date above.
